Harman Kardon problem

Hello and thanks for reading.
I have a HK AVR-230 reciever that broke down today. I was watching tv at a normal level and all of a sudden the picture went blank and no sound. I switched the tv to the antenna and the tv was fine. I hooked the dish up to the tv and now it works.
I did a hard reset to the reciever and I still get nothing. The display lights up like normal, but no sound. I hook up all my components to the reciever and use the monitor out for the video. No video and no sound on anything.
Has anyone ever had this problem? Is it worth fixing? Is there something I can do to fix it myself? I called hk to make sure it was not something I had set wrong after the reset, but they said everything was ok and gave me the numbers to dealers to have it fixed.

I had the same problem before but only for the sound. I called HK and since it is still under warranty, HK exchanged mine with the newer AVR240. If yours is still under warranty, I'd think it best to send it in for repair.
