Hello,

I purchased a Harman/Kardan HS 300 ME almost three weeks ago, and it is performing beyond what expected (I am a newbie however, still easily impressed).

I have a PC (Specs details at end of the message) supporting Digital Output through S/PDIF as Coaxial and Optical links. I am connecting my Coaxial-Out from the PC through a single RCA cable to the Coaxial-In in my Reciever.

In the Reciever I am using the Digital In (D-IN) as audio source and activating the Coaxial In as the input line. My surround mode option is DOLBY PL EMULATED.

My situation is that my sound card supports Stereo, Dolby Surround 5.1, DTS Neo:pC 2 Audio Channels and DTS Neo:pC Interactive (5 Audio Channels), and my Reciever decodes DTS as the manual indicates and I have played DVDs with DTS surround mode.
Whenever I use any of the 3 options (Stereo, Dolby Surround 5.1, DTS Neo:pC 2 Audio Channels) as audio output source I can hear sound from all the speakers. But whenever I use the fourth option the DTS Interactive everything goes silent.

Now I wonder where am missing some settings. My some of you guys can support me, and again I am not an expert in this.

Please note the following details:
*Surround Modes available in the reciever Original, Stereo, Dolby PL Emulated, Dolby PL II Music and Dolby PL II Movie.

*PC Specs: Core 2 Duo, Striker Extreme Mother Board, Sound Max sound card.

Wiating for your support.

Thank you.
