I did some listening on an HTKS-5. The drivers in the speakers, I believe, are the same. It is a good package, sounds decent with movies, music leave a little to be desired, but then agian, what sub mini sat package doesn't. For the size of the speakers the system does quite well.

If your are not totally set on the Harman Kardon package, Take a look at the DCM cinema 1 and 2 packages. They retail at $299 and $399 respectively. 10 year warranty on the speakers and 2 years on the powered subwoofer! By the way they sound quite GOOD. The cinema 1 has five identical speakers (1" tweeter & 3"woofer, slightly larger than H/Ks) and an 8" powered subwoofer. The cinema 2 upgrades to a larger center speaker (2-3" woofers & a 1" tweeter), five way binding posts on the speakers, and a 10" powered subwoofer. The subwoofers for both packages have adjustable x overs from 40-180 hz and adjustable gain. They also feature high level inputs and outputs as well as low level rca type inputs. Reguards.
