This probably a typical newbie's question, but I could not get through it: There is no hi-def HDMI out from my receiver to my projector.
My receiver came with Harman Kardon HKTS 18 home theater system. I use Eaget M880 media player to play movie, outputs 1080P through HDMI cable. My monitor is an Optoma HD20 projector, which accepts 1080p input.
First, I connected media player with one of my TV via HDMI cable, all worked good, then this 6ft HDMI cable onnected media player output to avr1600 HDMI input.
Then, I connected media player with HD20 projector via another 45ft HDMI cable, all worked good. This 45ft HDMI cable then connected avr1600 HDMI output to HD20 projector input.
I set up the avr1600 with EZset and audio was working good, but there was not HDMI video signal getting through to the projector - the projector kept saying "No signal".
I tried the HDMI input #1, #2 and #3, but no one worked.
The OSD setting menu show on screen(that means the HDMI cable from receiver to projector was working good), but only in 480i resolution(480i was fine).
On the receiver front panel, it sometimes show 1080i(which was the format I set the media player to output), but no picture/video show on screen.
Please advise how to make the video works.
