I am not sure if anybody else experienced this with a HK receiver but on my AVR-144, the remote or remote sensor acts intermittently when the unit is already warm.
Unit is placed on an equipment shelf where there is less than 1-inch clearance on the top. I opted to put a couple of 80mm fans on its side for air circulation. Since putting the fans, the problem has been solved.
Regarding some of the settings, is the display fade timeout supposed to deactivate when you leave the unit off for a long period of time?
