Hello guys,
I got a little while the Pioneers BS22 bookshelfs and i have them connected to an old stereo system, sony (line CMT), and also using a Subwoofer (Boston Acoustics Csii - since i got the Pioneers i barely turn it on)... It sounds good all together. However, now im looking for a receiver for a better sound quality... and my doubts are about those 3 models:

HK 3490
Marantz M-CR610
Denon DN5

I suspect that the HK3490 (connecting a CD player or blu-ray player via optical audio input) would offer a better sound quality, but there are lots of convenience on Marantz and Denons little stereos/receivers...

First of all, im looking for sound quality for music ...

So, the question is: does it make a really difference on quality over Marantz and Denon or its nothing to notice? Or am I absolutely wrong?

I am very open to your opinions... and other suggestions and alternatives
