This is an absolute monster. If you are looking for a separate two channel amp for your towers, this may be it. This is the one (I think Clint or DVV) that was mentioned putting out enourmous power for long periods of time. HK Citation - older, but one of the best amps ever for home audio.

I had a Citation 16 about 15 years ago that I bought used, I loved it when it worked, I still have a soft spot in my heart for it though. it sounded really nice. but it just spent way too much time in the shop.

any info on the AVR 7000?? Also, an older 'monster' receiver...the thing weighs like 82 pounds. Anyway, I have one, and have heard mixed stories about it, anyone care to clarify the situation?? Thanks, DustyDog
