Happy with new system

Dear all,

After many weeks of looking into things, and thanks to the useful advice of many here, I have finally a working new system that sounds great.

- The center piece is a Denon AVR-4306 outputting sound to 2 B&W 804s towers through a Rotel RB-1090 power amp. I thought I'd need a sub, but the combination of the Rotel and B&W isn't too bad in terms of bass. The sound is overall incredible to my beginners's hears, from SACD Mozart's Night Music to Portishead, through latin jazz and Bad Religion punk rock,

- The digital sources are a Denon DVD-3910 player and a Buffalo Linkstation home server. The DVD player is connected for sound through Denon Link, and for images through HDMI. The Linkstation is connected to the ethernet port through a hub. I have been storing .wav files on it that I ripped with Media Monkey from my CDs,

- The projector is a Panasonic 900 720p connected to the AVR with a 10 m HDMI cable from Panasonic.

Thanks again for your help on this and see you in 50 years for the next upgrade. :)

Cheers,
Bernard

Congrats on the great system. I know it sounds great. Don't know what the sound environment is like in Japan, but the addition of the sub will enhance the movie experience.

Thanks! The sub isn't really an option considering the neighborhood... :)
