and a happy Columbus day long weekend to all you folk. Our Canadian thanksgiving does not really resemble the joyous and festive occasion or follow in the same tradition in that of the American thanksgiving....but it's still a time for food, drink and watching lots of sports...

Well isn't that what Thanksgiving is all about, giving thanks for all the food and being too drunk to care that your team is losing.

Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes.

In Canada we copy American holidays then have them earlier on the calendar so it looks like Americans copied us.

Our Thanksgiving is in October and we celebrate nationhood on July 1st.
