Will be at home. Sundry noshing foods and a Prosecco for toasting at midnight. Wife brought home some ghost pepper cheese. First time for me.

Will also be at home. Wife is making lucky soup for health, wealth, and happiness in 2016. It's cabbage beef soup with kidney beans. We're not big fans of the traditional corned beef or black eyed peas, so she started her own tradition. So far, so good for the past decade or so.

She's having Ballatore. I might have a few sips at midnight, but my primary sauce this evening is Corsendonk Dubbel. Not too bitter, not sweet, just rich and savory liquid happy bread. :d
