To all you dads out there, enjoy your day! You've earned it.

And to all you folks lucky enough to still have your dads around, this is a reminder to give them a call.

Son, teaching me to play golf. 2 days on the range and today, my first 18 holes. I used to think golfers were wimps. Took 3 hrs and 45 minutes in the hot sun, squatting, kneeling, twisting and bending. All for a blazing 120 and an aching body. Happy Fathers Day!

There are so many decisions I would have made differently if my Dad were still with us. I know exactly what he would say in given situations but sometimes I do the exact opposite of what he would counsel. Usually, what I know he would have said turns out to be right.

Overall, it was a great day for me. Breakfast was made for me (I'm the usual Sunday breakfast maker) and I received a bottle of Talisker Distiller's Edition. Then we went to visit the outlaws, where we had a yummy lunch.

Of course, the later part of the day had to go down the drain when we tried to get our 9-year-old to get some homework done...

...squatting, kneeling, twisting and bending...

Sounds like Twister night at Adam's house...
