(In my case I didn't buy jack. Trying to save money to buy a travel trailer.)

Good deals on some Sennheiser gear (HD555 for $70) and AKG stuff recently, what are you looking for?

I've been watching Amazon's lightening deals, finding a number of excellent deals. Purchased entirely too many blu-ray's (as gifts, I swear!), I haven't found anything I really wanted in store that Amazon didn't price match.

Almost bought an Onkyo TX-8555, shoponkyo.com had it for $199 for club members, then a 20% discount bringing it down to $160, then $10 from joining drops to $150...solid price for a fairly quality stereo receiver. Holding out for DTA-100 from PE to come back in stock, looking forward to checking it out.

Nothing A/V related for the house this year, but I went to the Pentagon this AM where they have a Best Buy INSIDE the secure building. I showed up 2.5 hours before they opened and was 7th in line!

Got the 189.00 Toshiba laptop (originally $459!), so I was incredibly stoked on that. That one goes to my kids.

Also got the Sony Vaio laptop with Blu-ray for my wife as a special treat...

That was before she ran my 'nice' car into the side of the garage pulling into the driveway. If it was her car, it would suck, but it would have been her car, but I don't even want to talk about how much it drives me nuts that she made such a stupid mistake in my car.

Anyway... Also got a 23" 1080p monitor for the laptop and intend to split the signal to the monitor and to my projector so we can get a bit more HTPC action going in the theater this next year. Just got some more cabling to run I guess.
