Now this is beyond retarded it’s another film that translates to a load of bollocks up there on the screen. Just when you thought you’d heard the last of “Michael Myers” this abomination comes along. There’s no comparison for the original John Carpenter “Halloween” (1978) anyway I’m not going to lose any sleep over this one.

Saw the trailer for it on TV. Will be buying the original on BD rather than seeing this one...

I must admit, I'll probably rent this one when it comes out.
Let's face it, there are worse movies out there.

Obviously a lot of people like the pure horror type of movie. Me, I don't care for the type of movie which is just indiscriminate killing.

I do like the 'horror' genre when it is something like Wishmaster, where the premise has some mythological (real or made-up) background but a movie about a loser that kills everyone for no reason - I'll pass.

I may watch it if it comes on cable or OnDemand but I definitely won't be purchasing a DVD or renting it.

It doesn't seem like something I'd be interested in (been there, done that). On another note, I did teach my 4 year old how to play the Halloween "scary music" on the piano... I have no idea why, it just came out one night... lol.

Yeah...I consider most of the slash and rip movies pretty lame too. Whilst I thoroughly enjoy a good thriller like Hitchcock, or "scare" movies like Phantasm (the original) or The Boogeyman, the lack of serious acting and cinematography in these B-rated flicks invariably leaves me thinking wtf? ;)

The first Rob Zombie movie sucked (House of 1000 Corpses), but I thought it's sequel (The Devils Rejects) was great, so I think I'll rent it once it comes out on DVD, but I don't expect it to be in theaters very long.

I'll go to the theater for this one. The preview looked "extra" gory.

I'll toss this into my Netflix queue, but it wont make it's way to the top of the list until one of those desperation weeks where the selection is a little weak.

I went to see this and I would have to say it was horrible.....the audience was actually laughing out loud at the horror scences by the end......not to mention the only thing I learned watching this movie is that michael myers is a player hater, acutually killing anyone who has sex in this movie....lol
