very nice set-up.Looks like some quality equiptment there.
I hope that you have renters insurance being that you are in an apartment, I read on another forum where a guy lost everything in an apartment complex and no one saw a thing. We all work too hard to own nice HT setups and I would hate to see any one go through such a loss

What details would you like? The EMP stuff I have is simply fantastic, it plays extremely loud with no noticable(to me) dip in SQ. The sub is plenty good for apartment's like mine, I could never bring my svs sub home from the office for fear of my neighbors chasing me with torches. Its just a very very good bang for the buck system that has yet to displease me, and I'm sure it wont for any forseeable future. The office 2.1 is where I could really get some serious stereo audio without fear of neighbors. These bookshelves can play at insane volume levels and still sound crystal clear, the tube amp is very cool, and pairing it with an extremely capable sub was icing on the cake. I am very pleased with my purchases.

I am planning on purchasing these EMP speakers tonight. Been looking at them for a few days and have been waiting on someone to post some info on them. I will be living in a loft apartment and my only fear was that this sub isnt adaquate. Do you feel that it is more then enough for apartment living and that anytihng more (ie. outlaw, svs, or HSU) would be overkill?

Yea the emp sub is more than adequate for an apartment with neighbors. I also own an svs pc12-nsd that I use at my office and when I want to turn up the gain on the sub it will rattle the doors, the lights, the frames on the walls, and anything on your desk. It's too much sub for an apartment with neighbors that are not cool with huge amounts of room shaking bass. So its sad for me that I can never take mine home to watch movies with, without fear of getting an eviction notice on my door the next morning.

Edit:
After calibrating my sub to my listening position, turning the dial on the gain to about 1o'clock seems to be the best position for enough bass to get some good thump out of it without pissing off my neighbors. Any more than that and they will knock on the walls. The sub will play much louder though so if you have the ability to squeeze out more bass then you will get it from this sub. My svs sub is without a doubt severe overkill for an apartment. I dont know how loud or deep HSU or Outlaw's will play so if you find yourself needing(and can get away with) more bass then ask on the sub forums, but I am fairly sure even the tiniest cylinder svs sub(the one I just bought) will make your neighbors think there is an earthquake.

Edit again:
You can get an svs cylinder sub like mine but I doubt you will be able to turn the gain past 10% on the dial, so theres really no reason to get a monster sub like that if you can only use 10% of its potential.

Those EMP should be pretty good. I own some of their sister company RBH speakers. They make a great product. I have been debating having my brother get some of them, but maybe now may be the time.
