Hey Fellas, I've made the bold decision to put together a H/T system for Music and Movies. I currently have an H/T in a box old sony dream system that I want to replace.

The components that I hace already are:

1) 42" Panasonic TH-42PZ80U
2) 80 gig PS3 (Also my blue-ray player)
3) Wii
4) HD Cable Receiver

Components that I want to get:

1) Marantz SR4002 Receiver
2) 2 Athena WS-100's for my front left and right
3) 2 Athena WS-15's for my rear left and right
4) 1 Athena WS-60 for my center channel
5) 1 Athena AS-P4100 Sub
(Anything else not on my list that I should also get)??

Please let me know what you guys think? Ideas? Suggestions?
Should I go with matched speakers?
Is there anything about the speakers or the Marantz receiver that I didn't read about or come across in my research that I should know about?

Thanks for your help, I look forward to hearing from you guys.

I don't have any experience with those speakers, but many people say that Dayton makes the best sub for the money as far as budget subwoofers go.

I owned the 8" model until I built a Kappa Perfect 12, and I think they make a great sub for the $$. Maybe someone can comment on the Athena, but I am just giving you another option to consider.

I would say yes to sticking with matched speakers. The Athena system looks to be well thought out and should sound great. I assume the sub is part of the set so you may want to see if it gives you enough bass to fill your listening area. If is sounds weak (which it may not) you can upgrade or add another sub later.
