They also frequently put the matching R15 bookshelfs on sale for $40 or $50 a pair.

I have these for my 7.1 setup and they sound awesome, especially for the super low price.

The R15s are double packed, if you order one you will get a pair.

I think we are coming to the end of the R series. R50s are very scarce, 30s & 15s are being rebranded w/cosmetic changes as M20s & 10s. If you want a bargain on the Rs you'd probably best do it soon.

ya think its worth it to get a pair of r15's? right now i have sony no names for surrounds and i was gonna plop down 70 for each athena AS-R1, but this might be good enough and cheap enought for now. just cant stand those sony tweeters though

The R15s are pretty decent, and a steal at that price.
