Yeah, because House of the Dead was soooooooooooooooooo good :p

I can't believe I sat through that crap.

Now a new Romero movie - that sounds interesting. Huge fan of Night, Dawn, and Day.

The piece of celluloid monkey schit known as House of the Dead was brought to you by the Terrorist/Pedophile (Not really, but "bad director" isn't a condeming enough label for him) Uwe Boll. He also did the cinematic pain-parade Alone in the Dark. Personally he raises a good case for both a) Blacklisting makers of gut-wrenchingly bad films. and b) Bombing Germany as a punitive action.

Rob Zombie made House of 1000 Corpses, which while strange, was the best old-school horror film in 20 years.

Which isn't saying much for whatever else was put out in that 20 years. ;) (Actually, I own House of 1000 Corpses merely because I enjoy Rob Zombie's work in all it's incarnations.)

OK. I have a question for all you Romero fans. I've only seen "Night of the Living Dead." When I was 12. At the theater. When it debuted. Scared the crap out of me. Then had to walk home several miles, in the dark, through strange neighborhoods. Haven't watched it since or seen any of the other films.

Should I watch them in order? (Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead... etc.) or doesn't it matter? And should I watch the original Dawn of the Dead or the remake?

And does Romero do anything besides Dead movies?

Shadow, Yes you should watch Dawn and Day, but not the remake because it is a piece of degenerate garbage. I would watch them in order just because. Day has some amazing gore though so be prepared for that. Yes Romero has done quite a few other films and some pretty good ones too. I certainly enjoyed Creepshow and so do my boys. If you get the new Dawn of the Dead collectors edition, it has 3 cuts of the film with one being Argento's cut. Some say it is superior because he cut most or all of the humor out. I have not seen it yet myself. Anchor bay has Day and Dawn out in their Divimax series and they look pristine. The collectors set of Dawn is also Divimax. be sure to watch these because all the others are of inferior quality and look terrible. You should also watch Lucio Fulci's Zombie as well, get the Blue Underground version it has been restored in all it's technicolor gorey
