I have a 42" grand wega LCD projection screen tv that is about 5 months old and today when I turned it on, the picture came up blue tinted and grainy and none of the color settings in the menu would effect the color in any way. I tried turning it off and on, tried both the composite inputs and the svideo inputs from both my receiver and dvd player with the same results. After calling the shop where I bought the set to confirm that my waranty is still good, I decided to try just unplugging it and plugging it back in. I left it for a couple minutes, not knowing what good this could possibly do, but hoping nonetheless, and when i plugged it back in, the picture was back to its normal beautiful self. As happy as I am that my TV is working again (basketball game on tonight), I am a little worried now that something is wrong with it but may not be easy to reproduce and therefor hard to get fixed on waranty. Anyone else out there have or heard of this problem? Any suggestions as to what could cause this?
