My dream goal is to an Imagineer. Call it silly, but it's my motivation for completing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, but it also costs me a lot of money yearly. ;) This was my wife & I's 7th trip in as many years. We absolutely love this place.

We spent about $1200 on the room/food/tickets/gifts for a 6 night stay. Airline tickets were a gift from my Dad who gets them free (frequent flyer). Truthfully, people always think a trip to Disney is expensive. It can be if you make it, but if you study up a bit, you can stay for little of nothing (relatively). The most expensive thing is the tickets to the parks. The hotel we stayed at is a Value Resort on Disney property. $90/night with AAA discount. In the off-season (value season) it's about $79/night give or take.

This time around we did the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour and learned a lot, and also got to see the utilidors. That was awesome. A lot of folks don't know that Disney World's Magic Kingdom was built 14' above ground and the true "first floor" is the world's largest utilidor.

We were chosen as the "First Family" on our first day there, so we got to ride The Tower of Terror alone, and lead the grand opening. *cool*

You should have taken pictures on the rides. That would've been awesome.

Never been to Disney world, only land.

Thanks for the pics. Funny, but the wife was just talking about going there. She's getting her doctorate in PT this week, so she wants to take a trip. What are your tips for saving money?

By the way, your wife's too cute for you. :D

Hi Erin, nice pictures.

When were you there?

We got back home Friday night.
May 6th - 16th

We also took the 'Behind the Scenes' tour; it's seven hours long, and very interesting.

I always go out of my way to talk to Disney employees (cast members) they all seem to like working there.
