Good speaker cable for Jamo C809?

Hi. I need suggestion for speaker cables for my Jamos C809. Im using them in 5.0 setup C809 + C80CEN + C80SUR with Onkyo TX-NR1008.

I was looking at Atlas Hyper 2.0 and 3.0, Chord Carnival SilverScreen, QED Relevation and QED Genesis Silver Spiral... but now Im pretty lost in cables. I really dont know what could be good for my Jamos bcs I cant test them.

Maybe you tested some so can you please advice me ?

first, read some of the info on this site http://www.roger-russell.com/wire/wire.htm then use the "wire table" to properly size your speaker wires http://www.roger-russell.com/wire/wire.htm#wiretable

Then go to www.monoprice.com (as noted), Lowes, or Home Depot and buy the proper sized 2 conductor cable in the length needed. Finished - you are done, and you have not spent hundreds of dollars on pure snake oil

Try something of sufficient guage which comes on a giant spool from your local electronic supply wholesaler. They will likely have sheaths and such to make 'em look as fancy as the high dollar cables. That's what I did. Saved a bundle.

I also agree w/ Phillip's Monoprice recommendation; they basically do the finishing work for you, without the audio-hype markup.

All you are paying for with "brand name" cables is the NAME. Speaker wire makes the least difference of anything in your system.

If there is any difference in sound, it is inaudible to the human ear.

Speaker wire does not have a sound. Just make sure the total resistance of the cable is less than 10% of the impedance minimum of your speaker.

If you pay a lot of money for speaker cable, then you've been played for a fool.

I am not sure why you think it matters which speakers and receivers are used with what cables. It doesn't matter, plain and simple.

It all comes down to the cable inside your speaker - all you need is the
proper gauge to hook up between the receiver and speaker. There is
still the network and cable inside, that feeds the drivers - nothing that
is higher grade will change that.

Wrong, as long as you have sufficient gauge, and the wire isn't faulty in some way, or designed to be "non-transparent" (which, as far as I'm concerned, is just a purposeful way to be "faulty"). Anyone who tells you differently should be ignored.

BTW, if YOU'VE heard a difference, don't worry, it happens to pretty much everyone if the conditions allow it. The difference is in your head only, and is not at all physically related to the wire.

Thanks on all answers! I was just wondering if anyone heard some difference with diff cables with Jamo`s. No answers on that so probably I must assume not.

I know that guy who bought Ferrari wont buy some low budget Pioneer car radio...

Thats same with cables and HiFi equipment. If someone buy Audio Note Ongaku probably wont buy speaker cable under 500$.

Thats all marketing gimmick for those who have money to spend them.

If you plan to use an Onkyo TX-NR1008 to drive Jamos speakers, this is the perfect cable! Those Jamos speakers won't come alive until you have the proper cable to get the entire signal (as intended by the muscians and Jamos' speaker designers) from the Onkyo to them.
