I have been looking all over the net for a list of DVD moves that have good sound tracks for bass and surround performance any ideas?

I am surprised not to see "War of the Worlds" and "Master and Commander" The pod coming up from under the street scene in "War of the Worlds" has outstanding LFE, there are other scenes throughout the movie that have very dynamic surround effects and LFE. The opening scene through the first battle scene to "Master and Commander" demonstrate how good DTS can really be. Not a whole lot of LFE, but tons of dynamics and detailed sounds. "The Incredibles" has a few LFE parts here and there and an overall clean sound throughout the entire movie.

Although it is in the list provided by j_garcia, I will suggest Das Boot. It is worth giving special mention because you may not have heard of it, and, not only does it have impressive bass, it is also a great movie, loved by critics as well as regular people. So with it, you have the advantage of having a film very much worth watching even if it did not have the incredible bass it has.
