i figured some may have been put off by the first part of the old question - "Local repair shop vs factory?" and decided to clarify it.. that's all.

I see, thou I'm local, I never had to use these... yet so no personal exp.

You could call Tim at Bristol Electronics in Ho-ho-kus, NJ, (201) 447-4299, to see if he works on that brand. I know from experience he does classic Sony, Marantz, and Fisher and he's a factory authorized repair center for NAD.
