Wanting to find a good receiver that has good features but isn't too costly. Any good recommendations? I want one that supports Dolby truehd, dts-hd, and anything else good for 7.1 and any other recommended stuff..

Thanks

You should be able to find a Yamaha RX-V663 used for around $250-$350. Excellent receiver and I think anyone here would agree.

How about a factory refurbished Onkyo TX-SR607 for $320 or TX-SR707 for $480 from Accessories for less.

Could you define what you mean by "isn't too costly."

Thanks all for your responses. $700 $800 is getting pretty pricey... $400 doesn't sound too bad if it sounds good ;)

Most manufacturers are trying to move last years models so you should be able to find quite a good deal for ~$400.
Denon 790/1910 (refurbed) - Onkyo RC160/607 - Harman Kardon 2600/3600 - among others.
