Of course I'm being sarcastic with the title.
But here's some news you guys will like. We all hear how Bose loves to bully other companies around and how their questionable marketing campaigns seem to light the fires of ire. Well it looks like BOSE just got tarred and feathered.
In an article published by TWICE.com, Bose was clocked on the head by none other than CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association.)
Apparently BOSE accused CEDIA of "fraud, abandonment and likelyhood of confusion" and the court said no way. It all stems from the "Lifestyle" trademark that BOSE said was theirs, CEDIA had been using Electronic Lifestyles before BOSE ever did. CEDIA president Ray Lepper said "CEDIA members have spent an enormous amount of money on a lawsuit that we always believed was unjust. We look forward to receiving an apology from BOSE-in whatever form it might take".
Ray, don't hold your breath.
