So, the above configuration is what you *have*, or what you *want* to have?

I would wager that the Bose should go first. However, I'm not thrilled with KLH or Klipsch, so I personally wouldn't recommend either.

Getting L/R speakers to match your center is a good idea. What center do you have? For $350, maybe a RC-62? If so, Klipsch's suggested floorstanding match is the RF-62.

Get the speakers before a new receiver, because they might be efficent enough that you don't need a new one. Klipsch speakers need half as much (or less) power to play at the same loudness as most others.

After that, I'd take a look at replacing the Bose with a regular sub & a pair of bookshelves or surrond speakers.

What receiver do you have?

Is your Klipsch center a Synergy or Reference series? What's the model number? Also, did you put that system together all at once, or is this a hodge podge of speakers gathered over the years? (hopefully someone at BestBuy didn't recommend that setup). What is your receiver - model number?

Update: I just read your other post. You don't need to have several threads at once. Too confusing. So your 1993 receiver is an old Sony two channel? If it's not surround, there's no way to play your center and surrounds or subwoofer. How do you have them connected?

How long have you had your speakers? Is it too late to return them?

ok, my center channel speaker is a Klipsch Synergy SC.5, and my A/V reciever is from 1993 SONY. I have my 5 speakers connected to it and my receiver does support a 5 speaker setup but no subwoofer. i didnt put this system together at once, i received the acustimass bose speakers as a gift and used them first with my receiver i also received as a gift. then a few years later, i purchaced the 2 KLH floor standing speakers at costco, and then just a few months ago. I purchaced my Klipsch SC.5 on ebay.

This is what my receiver is called on the manual

SONY FM Stero/FM-Am
Receiver
STR-D1011S

The Klipsch SC.5 is listed at Vanns for $150.

I don't like it that I took the time to give a real answer to your bogus post.

No offense Rak, but if you paid $350 for your center, you were ripped off. It seems like your best action going forward would be a new, informed upgrade path. You've got speakers now that will suffice for now, so I'd start with a new receiver then sub.
