Good for a laugh

This was a review regarding the denon 988 I found on circuitcity.com:

"This receiver works great with HDMI components. It has an excellent video processing chip not found in most others. I have a sony XBR4 LCD TV and this receiver made a big difference with my picture clarity. It also pushes my bose speakers better than my Onkyo 805 does. Very expensive but worth every penny for me."

Just made me chuckle. Thought I would share.

What's really sad is the mook had Bose squeakers lashed up to a freaking 805. What a pathetic waste of a great receiver. Heck, I can push Bose speakers better than any receiver can....right out the nearest window.

Hmmm. I wonder if the 805 is powerful enough to blow up a Bose cube
speaker? Now that's a test I'd like to see. It probably wouldn't blow up, just disintegrate.
