Good Entry Level Recievers for the budget minded consumer

Hello

I was at my local visions a couple days ago. I came across two recievers. The first one was a Onkyo TX-SR502 for $350 :D and the second one was a Harman-Kardon AVR 130 (I think I was only, told by a freind, didnt actually see it.) for 600$. Which one would you recommend. I'm leaning towards the Onkyo due to the better price even though it may be not as good. I'm also fairly broke because I have lots of things to pay for right now. I'm running a set of speakers that are 300 watts max. I imagine that their RMS is 125 watts but I dont know. They have two eight inch woofers. They are SOUNDSTAGE speakers if anybody has heard of them. Also would a better reciever make the sound that much better. I'm currently running a Technics SA-DX750 it's not great but it gets the job done. How much better would the H-K be than the Onkyo, if at all. Thank you and please respond soon before the sale is over. ;)

(*remember this is in Canadian dollars.)
