This is my third post with a deal and still not at 20 posts, sorry!

Ran across this one today. Infinity 363's for $177 each. It seemed like a fair price until I saw they wanted $30 a piece for shipping! I considered them at $400 until I found a coupon that took $103 off, bringing a pair to $311 shipped!

Here's the link:

Infinity Primus 363 Three-way dual 6-1/2" Speaker

Then, use any one of these three coupons:

RETAILMENOTSAVE
LS0935
TECHBARGAINS

These work for many items on the site, so look around too. Lots of pretty drastic discounts. This one was a nice glitch: Polk Audio-SPEAKERBUNDLE Which came out with $38,000 off... I wonder if they pay you to buy them? :D

Following up on this.

I purchased these and they cancelled my order without telling me. After not hearing from them for about two weeks, I called them up and asked what had happened. They told me that it was cancelled, but they couldn't tell me why. I asked if it was due to the price, and they said no. When I asked if I could just re-order them, they said no, unless I created a whole new order. Of course the discounts no longer apply and they are out of stock. The representative couldn't have cared less, either.

Very annoying. I won't be purchasing anything from Electronics Expo in the future.

That sounds somewhat hokey to me. I wonder, were they not legally a dealer for those speakers? If not, that is probably why they "broom-sticked" you.

Call them at EE, and tell them you are doing some Competitive Shopping for a pair of them, and you want there best price delivered, and you are willing to buy today if there price is low enough -- remember, there is about a 50% markup on speakers!

Merry Xmas to All. :)

Yeah, that is a killer deal. I remember when Fry's frequently had them on sale for $100 each, that was a hilariously good deal, nothing else comes close in sound quality for your dollar. Some guys were getting them for back and side surrounds, and at that price there is no reason not to if you have the room. I scored mine for $130 each, still an insanely good value. The best deal I scored so far was $130 for a pair of new Behringer 2031p speakers, and the moral of that story is always remember the power of price-matching as a bargaining technique.

I was reading about that deal. That is absolutely insane. I don't know why you would buy anything else at the $100 price point. Hell, I'd be using them all around at that price too.

Ha! I got them from Fry's for $100 a piece!!! If I would have thought about it I would have gotten more for surrounds or something. Damn it, Shady! Why couldn't you have told me a month earlier?
