ok i have bose speakers simialar to this minus the center speaker

http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/home_theater/home_theater_speakers/acoustimass_10/index.jsp

the way these speakers work is you attach the speakers to the acoustimass module and from the module to a 15 pin connector to a receiver as shown in the manual on pages 8 and 9

http://www.products.bose.com/pdf/customer_service/owners/og_am6_10.pdf

but my speakers are already attached directly to my receiver and i want to use my acoustimass module as my subwoofer but im missing the 15-pin connector so what my plan is to follow the instructions on this diagram

http://www.fixya.com/support/t2451379-bose_audio_input_receiver_cable_15_pin

but i just want to connect the 14 and 15 pin because thats obviously all i need my question is which pin would be the black wire and which would be the red wire that would be used to connect to the back of the receiver.

thanks for all help in advance

You can't connect Bose speakers directly to your receiver. The crossover is not high enough and you will damage the speakers. You have to use Bose speakers as intended.

The sub is not a sub, it is a lousy bass module. The crossovers to the puny Bose speakers needs to be 160 Hz. There is a sizable acoustic hole between the bass module, which does not play very deep and the puny satellites.

You will not get any worthwhile results mucking around with Bose. Get something else.

Pin 15 will be ground and 14 the signal.
