I use to play 4 days a week. I was a weak player that avg. around 85 but could drink a beer per hole and still hit a 85. I think I played because I lived on a golf course and was a member of their Country Club after a divorce and move, I still played a lot but eventually lost interest. I haven't touched my clubs in 5 years.

We do have a golf pro on here but he is usually busy vs posting on an A/V forum.

We got snow, and so my urge to play sparks discussion. Fired 82 many times, but never have broken 80. Wish I knew the key to unlock the next level of my game. Should be able to get a round in on vacation in Arizona.

I'm gonna post this, hopefully I get some sort of response. We are going to be in Tucson from March 7 for about 5 days. Looking for suggestions on courses to play. Which ones are in best shape right now, best value. Don't care about amenities, just course quality. Fun to play.

I don't play, but I'll try to remember tomorrow to ask my friends that do. If you were coming in July, it would be a lot cheaper. :D

Thanks Adam. Its way too hot in July to find me roaming around in the dessert. :D
Besides, its warm in Iowa that time of year, no need to be in Az then.

Well I may be changing my tune on the dessert in July. It may get hot but after what I've seen this week, who cares. For a golfer, Arizona National has got to be one of the most visually stunning places I have ever played, or maybe, ever will. Will post pics when I get home.

You will if you come here. :D July is monsoon season, though, so you might get some impressive storms to watch. If you do come back in July, I'll try to make sure that I can find time. Sorry about this week, man. I'm glad that you had such great weather while you both were out here!

I absolutely love to sit and watch storms roll in, would like to see some desert storms. I bet the light show is phenomenal. Maybe next time Adam. I understand how being busy goes. I need a vacation to recoup from our vacation. :D We did have very nice weather. Met a lot of great people and had a great time.

If you want to see storms roll in I hear nothing beats a hurricane. You'd need to be Australia right now to see one of those.
