I just stumbled across a pair of these locally. $900 for the pair, like new condition. Is that something to get excited about? Is it worth contacting and auditioning, or should I be happy with my Ultras?

I have heard a couple of the Tritons. They didn't sound bad, but I don't see them being enormously better than the Ultra speakers. I think that would be a lateral move.

That's all I wanted to know. Thank you. I looked a few up and they tend to be a bit more than that. I've never heard them though.

I'd go listen to them. Only thing you've got to lose is 900 bucks. lol if nothing else it's another reference point. I have some GE's on my shopping list. IMO, not a lateral move.
