I enjoyed the effects in this movie and the polar bear animation.
Its a good fantasy movie.

But its one of the first I have seen with a DTS HD 7.1 track and it sounds extremely good. I suggest you check it out if you are set up for this sound for that fact.

I liked the film more than I thought I would. Some of the best CG I have seen. The DTS MA HD 7.1 audio on the BR disk is the best I have heard. Great LFE!

Same here bro and you know what I wouldn't be surprised if the newer movies coming out especially those in 2009 and beyond (EG. Hobbit, GI Joe, Batman, Etc) will be coming out as DTS MA HD 7.1 as there is tonnes of space on BD for upgrading sound and picture cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't understand the "controversy" at all. I'm Catholic. I heard a lot of Catholics hated this movie. Is that right?

If you read the books, the "magasterium" is more clearly
the catholic church. But.....who cares?.....a very good
series.

I watched it last weekend. Never read the books and didn't have very high expectations, but I thought it was pretty good. I think I liked it better than Narnia.

Kinda weird hearing Magneto's voice coming out of a Polar Bear though.

LOL! The rubber suit versions were definitely intended for kids, and were also a product of the 80s after all. I might have to actually rent this one now. Had no interest in it previously.
