Going to modify my entertainment center.

Going to modify my entertainment center so I can move my center to a better home. Should I go above or below the TV (see picture below). The simple way would be above the TV as all I would need to do is rip a few inches off the boxed area. If I'm going under I'll need to make new (taller) side supports. Either way what would you say is best of the two :confused:

I would put in the box area below the TV. My current set-up is:



My center is above and sounds fine after SPL calibration. The AVR and BD are behind cabinet dooers and controlled by RF remote.




But I am changing to Salamander Hampton 339 and going to PRO-151HD



The center speaker is behind the top cover. Center-channel opening is faced with a removable grille that hides the speaker.

Decided to go below, I live in Calif. and you never know when the "big one" will hit. So the bottom is the safer of the two. I'll post some pic's when I'm done :)
