Gizmoto and the $300,000 JBL Home Theater System

It looks like nobody has posted anything about this entry level version of JBL's new home theater technology.

We had the pleasure of listening to the new JBL's Project Everest Everest DD66000 speakers plus a few other important-sounding things, but, frankly, they had us at "$40,000 per speaker." Where were we? In JBL's rather impressive home cinema that cost $300,000 to build —including 6TB of storage for DVDs, their lowest end setup.
It's a bit out of my budget but I figured it was worth passing on the story.

Well, I would rather get a Mark Levinson/Revel system, although JBL, ML, & Revel are all owned by Harman International.

I wonder how much of a discount you get for leaving off the DVD server and just getting a superior HD-DVD & BRD players? :cool:
