SO I'd been wanting the PB13 Ultra for a long time but times got rough, lost my job and then ended up moving cross country. After getting back on my feet I went back to SVS' site to check out the Ultra only to see a new line of Subs. The Ultra went up to just under two grand and I just couldn't do that much, so I decided to take the newly designed PB12 Plus with the new DSP amp. I hope I made the right choice because I always had my sights set on the Ultra.
Anyways, the PB12 Plus is due to arrive tomorrow between 12 and 5 ( I can't wait
) I might need your guys' help getting it all setup. My previous sub was a Cerwin Vega CLS15 and I blew it
Stuck it in a corner, turned the gain all the way up and fried it after about a year. I really want to take good care of this sub for years of listening enjoyment.
I also may need help with configuring my receiver properly. I have a Denon AVR-3801. Looked through the owners manual once and felt like it was written in Chinese, so I just fiddled around with the remote a bit. Anyways, I just want to get everything set up right for the smoothest sound. I'll check in tomorrow with some pics and some Q's
