Aloha All,
Please excuse the length of the post...I've read many forums and read Many reviews for HT setups for the past many months and believe this forum is the most informative site regarding my questions.
Prior to marriage I enjoyed listening to music, bose speakers marantz receiver but priorites took over and that luxury was no longer available to me. Now single/kids out looking to get back in the sounds. I unfortunately live on a small rock in the middle of the pacific ocean and don't have the opportunity to listen and/or preview audio systems.
I currently have Pioneer VSX-917V and purchased SP-PK21BS, 5.1's about 6 months ago. I think I got the bug as this sound is not cutting it for me and will upgrade!
Here is what I'm thinking and respectfully requesting all opinions and thoughts.
Keep the Pioneer receiver for now.
From all I've read will pick up the Paradigm Signature S6 v.3...also
Purchase Emotiva XPA-3 600 Watt Three Channel Amplifier.
The Pioneer I have can bi-amp the speakers, but will I still be able to bi-amp the paradigm's with the Emotiva?
Should I scrap the receiver and get an upgrade on that first and wait for the amp later?
Sorry for my ignorance and hoping the very informed members of Audioholics can provide me some professional opinions.
