Getting a BR Player - Time to upgrade my receiver??

I just ordered my PS3 so that I can watch Blu Ray movies. My question is this: Do I need to upgrade my receiver to take advantage of all that the PS3 offers?

My current amp is a Yamaha RX-V861. I have a Panasonic 42" 1080p plasma TV as well.

No you do not.

Just hook up the PS3 to your receiver via HDMI and set the PS3 Audio output to PCM. The PS3 will decode TrueHD & DTS-MA and send to your receiver.
