Hello. I'm curious if someone sells an adapter that will allow you to connect a PS2 to your reciever and get 5 channel surround for DVD's that you are playing on the PS2? Thanks in advance for the advice.:D

To get 5-channel sound from your PS2 you need to use the digital optical out and a compatible cable. These are often called TOSLINK cables.

Thanks for the help. I currently have it connected to the receiver (Sony K-502P) with a Toslink optical cable. Is it something that you have to set up in the PS2 menu to allow 5 channel surround? Thanks!

First, make sure that your optical output is enabled (I assume it is). Each game is different. Not every game has surround, and sadly, most are stereo. Each game should have a sound menu. In this menu you can select your sound mode. If you're lucky, your game will have 5.1 surround as an option you can select.
