Just want to yell out that I'm getting a Pioneer 1018AH-K for Father's Day. It'll fit in my unit!

A little website irony is that if you download the manual from Pioneer it's in Spanish...

Possibly. This site has a ship date of sometime this month. I've got a family member in the business who is looking into whether or not they're actually released it. Either way, there's one with my name on it!

Hi Pat. Our Pioneer Rep from work looked into this for me last week and claimed there has not been an official early release date as of yet. It seems like Pioneer is being a bit more tight-lipped on this one for some reason. It will be interesting to see when it actually is available.

According the Pioneer's site it's supposed to be out this month. I have seen all in that series aside from the 1018 now, I am getting anxiety attacks being denied the site of this new receiver.

Congratulations! I love my 1015TX, and the 1018 adds a lot of features and has a nice look to it. I think that you'll be quite happy with it.

Well, my 1015 decided that it won't turn on today. Nothing. I checked the fuses, and they look fine.

Now I'm much more interested in the 1018. Can't wait for it to come out. Time to go hook up my 10-year-old Yamaha...

No official word yet. I saw a post on the AVS forum that a guy who's the brother of the cousin of the daughter's former lesbian lover's girlfriend's ex-husband heard a date of July 4th.

I still won't be able to pick it up until I make the trip to San Diego during the middle of the month. If it's in stock, it'll be waiting for me at my in-law's house!

Hmmm. I just found out that the 1018 has neither a switched outlet nor a 12V trigger, so I think it's out of the running. I want something that can remotely switch on my amps. Darn.
