Same Problem...HELP!

I have the same problem getting higher than zero levels for my center and surround speakers. Any luck yet? I'll let you know if I figure anything out. Do the same?

Receiver setup.

Sounds like the speaker levels on your receiver can only attenuate the volume and cannot boost it. Setup the level of your most sensitive speakers (probably mains or center) Now adjust the other channels so they are as loud as the mains when playing the test tones. A powered sub usually has its own volume adjustment which you can use in conjunction with the +0/-10 db setting on the receiver.

No sound out of center / surround speakers

My Genesis Media Labs G-6030 system sounds great out of the 2 main speakers, but no sound comes out of the surround speakers, and the center speaker just makes a loud humming noise, but no audio sound. Any ideas?

i never heard of this equipment you can compare this to a bose system.msrp is $2999 but you can buy on ebay or the street for $300 what a scam. go and buy a panasonic for $149 and stop getting scammed. nothing but junk from china.

I have the Genesis G6030 and inorder to turn on all the speakers, you must use one of the DSP settings, like rock, church, pop, hall, or jazz. jall and rock use all the speakers, church pop and jazz use variants of the center, left and right, and the sides. all settings use the subwoofer. the only problem i have with the system is the mute button, intermitantly when i try to unmute the system, it will unmute, and instantly mute again, then flip mute/unmute really fast. i have to pull the remote batteries out to make it stop. then i have to turn the volume all the way up from 00. anyone have this problem?

Genesis Media Labs

You know it's funny. I bought a Genesis Media Labs G-506 on ebay for $100. they actually sound really good! I've always had PSB's and I just put in a bid on those Genesis and they sound just as good as my PSB 4T's! I was surprised! They have a smooth bass and crisp but mellow sound, very similar to PSB Alpha's. The only complaint I have is the bass is a little low, but other that that they sound great! I put them in the bedroom in place of some JBL's, and they sound great! Maybe I got lucky?!!?

Genesis

ermeitzn, I had the same problem. The thing was that the imputs on mine were in auxillary, and in that mode you can only listen to the two front speakers. Same with the CD and MP3 modes. And the other three speakers just make a hum. When you have a DVD player with the correct inputs, your able to listen to all five speakers. I found this out by plugging in different input modes, and on AUX, CD, and MP3, I could only control the two fronts and the sub. ON DVD mode I could control all five plus the sub.

same problem

I have the same problem, it worked just fine, then stopped and now only makes a humming noise, even when it is in Standbye mode. Does anyone have any thoughts?
All the help would be appreciated.
