Greetings...
I'm setting up the HT and wondering about best(dare I say elegant?) cabling setup. The state of the union now is a bit crossed and jumbled.
Video will be via component, digital audio to receiver(1 optical, 1 digital coax). Connecting SD DVD player(Coax) and Motorola HD cable box(Optical/Coax).
My question: I want DVD with surround, Cable with and without surround. The pioneer plasma has two component inputs + RG6 coax + analog sound inputs, the Yammy 663 has three component in and one out + 2 optical and 2 Coax.
I think the elegant solution would be component out from DVD and cable box to panel, digital coax and optical to receiver, RG6 coax to panel for non-surround cable (or is analog audio + component to the panel a better solution?). Does this sound like the best solution?
Please give me any thoughts.
Thanks
