Gemini pro amps any good?

There's a local guy selling Gemini XGA-3000's for $160. Sound a little too good to be true. I am looking for an amp to power a DIY 15" sub with 2 18" passive radiators. I was originally looking at the Behringer EP2500, but recently saw this.

Would this amp work for me? I've never heard of Gemini.

Well you get what you pay for but those amps are pretty cheap and when it says 3000w it means peak to peak power not continuous power. You want an amp that has rms rated power. That amp only does a couple of hundred watts in reality if that. I would stick to the Behringer as it is proven to work well and put out very close to it's advertised power.

No, they are junk entry level DJ amps.

Take a look at Crown, Crest or QSC. A bit more money, but, well made.

Seriously, I have no life.
Just because a company says that it's amps are pro level, doesn't make it so.

I thought it seemed a little too good to be true. That's why I asked. Thanks guys, you kept me from throwing away $160.
