This device has a somewhat lower resolution LCD screen (128x128) than the iPod Photo (220x176), but will be shipping on November 15 and apparently is trying to take away users who are impatient with Apple Computer's proclivity for underestimating demand. Weighing in at just 3.4 ounces and sporting a 4GB hard drive, the Photo Jukebox offers music and photo capabilities - in a light, portable player about the size of a deck of cards. It comes with Windows Media Player 10 and works with most PC-based music to support multiple file formats - including, notably, ACC. And it also features the
Microsoft PlaysForSure software. MSRP is $249 from the Gateway website.
