Garage Setup for TV & Audio

So my wife and I are all moved into our new house and had a party last weekend. We had our TV out there with a wireless box (U-Verse) for football and I decided yesterday when cleaning up that it would be a lot nicer to get the TV mounted and maybe have some speakers.

I know a little bit about TV/Audio but it is not my main strong suit.

I have a garage that is 34'w x 22'd and 12' ceilings. I mainly want the TV out there in case we're working in the garage and games are on, but also to have music going on for the same reason (or listening to baseball, whatever).

Since the garage is finished (there's attic space above the ceiling) I'm debating if I should run in ceiling speakers or just mount Indoor/Outdoor speakers.

In terms of a receiver, I have no idea what to do here. Since we have a lot of Apple products I'd like something with AirPlay, but I could just hook up an AppleTV and get a new one for the house. I'd really not like to spend a ton of money and can do the work myself, just not sure what the best option is.

We won't be watching movies out there since it will be a 42" TV so I don't need something for that.

For speakers I was thinking this:

Yamaha NS-AW150WH 2-Way Outdoor Speakers - White (4 or 6 pack, I haven't decided how many speakers I should put in)

For a receiver I was thinking:

Yamaha RX-V677 7.2-channel Wi-Fi Network AV Receiver with AirPlay

I'd go with all CL-2 rated speaker wire from Monoprice. As well as wall plates and so on from them too.

(I'd post links but I can't since this is my first post, but all the items listed are searchable on Amazon as those are the titles)

Any help, ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am doing nearly the exact same thing in a 6 bay garage, with the 6 pack of these speakers (they came as the NSAW350W model) and am debating on a receiver also - though my main objective is just for music at equal volume from all 6 speakers.

One thing that has me a little timid on now is that the speakers are rated at 6 Ohm, where many receivers are rated for 8-16, including the one you have listed.

Anyone out there have any recommendations for these kinds of setups?
