The only reason I'm posting this now is to maybe hopefully delay the sale of p'dawgs garage receiver.
I think what I'm offering may be a better option for you if you're considering his.
Its a showroom quality Marantz AV550 with original box, manual, remote, warranty card, etc. It truly is in fantastic condition.
Its actually only a pre-amp and would work better in your living room. It has no amp section but has a 3 digital inputs, including an input for your new LD player.
It does not do DTS decoding, but does Dolby Digital. I never really used it for movies at all, and for music, its FANTASTIC. Would make a great start to going to separates, or whatever.
It includes the learning remote that retailed for over 200 bucks on its own. Its also in almost perfect condition.
I would like $25 for the unit (cheaper than PDAWGS) $25 for processing, $25 for my time, $25 for packaging, plus shipping.
