Gamer Headsets

I'm looking for recommendations on Headsets. Right now my primary use will be for playing Call of Duty Ghosts and Minecraft. Console is an Xbox 360

No one plays Call of Duty? No one uses headphones for any game?

I use Audio Technica ATH-AD700 headphones for gaming (counterstrike), but that's on my computer. I don't care much for gaming headsets although I did have multiple sets of plantronics audio 90s way back in the day. I dunno what sort of things you would need to use real headphones with a console like the 360.

You misunderstood me. I understand why you want a headset. I'm saying I don't know what sort of adapter or whatever would be required to use real headphones with a console because as far as I know they don't have typical headphone out/mic in ports.

If you want to use other headphones on Xbox (by "other", I mean headphones intended for computer use with a line for audio and a line for mic), then you need something like this.
