Hey guys:

Here's the lowdown: Gallo Nucleus Micros with Tr-1 sub (5.1), Panasonic s97 DVD and SARX 70 receiver, Panasonic 42" ED plasma, direct tv HD receiver.

Connecting the Gallos was a breeze, the posts are high quality as is fit and finish throughout. SW Revenge of the Sith was my first viewing, the word that keeps coming to mind is seamless, you feel completely sorrounded and involved in the movie, apart that the speakers are phisically small they dissappear completely. I had misgivings about small round speakers, but I'm blown away by their performance. Theses are not made for large HTs (mine is small: 11x12) they're best suited for small to medium sized rooms. As of right now I can recommend these to anyone without reservations. My connection is via hdmi, speakers are wired with Bluejeans cable (Belden #12).

The most you heard in my house this weekend was: :"That's com ing out from those little round things?????" HIGHLY RECOMMENED...(as some magazines like to say) Thanks to everyone that showed interest in my little project, you're all welcomed to send private messages and I'll answer any questions you have.

Thanks,

Stratman

That's a very nice setup! :)
The only minor complain I've had with the gallos is the sub integration and a somewhat slow subwoofer. I'm crossovering at 120hz via the subwoofer.
Either than that, really good stuff, build construction, smart design and high WAF!

Thanks Tejax,

I'm still noodling around with the sub woofer, but overall so far I like what I'm hearing and you're right the WAF is right up there. I'm thinking of getting a pair of Orbs for my room and kitchen system, this way I can compare the Gallos and Orb.

would be interesing to see your comments on the comparison between orb and gallos, they look identical!!

i agree with tejax, the bottom end isnt quite beefy enough to get across to the sub. other than that, cute lil speakers!!

Well, I got it (sub) dialed in at 120 (thanks TEJAX) and all sounds wonderfull! Just watched Fifth Element, great colors awesome sound, so far I'm very happy with the Gallos and agree with Tejax about the sub being a little "loose" but in a small HT it's no big deal. In a couple of weeks I'm going to order the Orbs for my kitchen and I'll try and compare those with the Gallos.
