I too loved it as it reminded me of the cartoon I watched as a child, which I consider to be a good thing. The affects and PQ were absolutely smashing!

I'm with you dude. This was about the dumbest movie ever. Having a Wayans brother in it was enough for me. The only decent character in the movie was Snake Eyes, and they even screwed him up by putting a dumb-*** mouth on his mask.

IMO, it is going to be rare to have recent releases that are going to have bad transfers or poor PQ, especially with "summer movies" like this one. Quite often when you see titles derided for PQ it is due to remastering techniques applied to library titles. This one got ripped for being a bad movie, but got good (4/5) marks for PQ and AQ.

Yes something about this movie really put a smile on my face and the longer I watched it the more it pulled me in .

Oh my gosh. I thought his movie was so bad.

And I loved GI Joe (& Transformers) growing up. I used to watch them every single day after school.

And unless they change most of the casts, I refuse to watch any sequels.

I'm trying so hard to rationalize spending the money on a BR copy of this, but my head tells me I'm going to be so disappointed. Someone convince me that this wont ruin the indelible memories of my childhood!
