My family thinks I'm absolutely nuts with my audio equipment and room treatments. Usually, she rolls her eyes and leaves when I'm on the net looking at new equipment.

But, the other day, she comes in and sees this sites name "Audioholics", and she gets this big smile, sits down beside me, touch's my arm and says, "I'm so happy your doing this".... Do you have to go to meetings like "Alcoholics Anonymous"??

When I told her that the site has people who were more 'nuts' then I am and they want to even spend more time and money on the hobby, her face changed and she quietly left the room........

I bought my wife a car and she never bugged me about anything I bought ever again. Seriously. Try it sometimes. Jewelry doesn't even work that well, they forget about it. But a car is big, and fun and they always remember. They may even buy you audio stuff on special occasions (my wife does). Try it. Best $20,000 I ever spent...
