I posted this on av123 but thought i should also list it here before craigslist, as you guys have helped me out with my gear selection:
I upgraded to the Emotiva Reference Stereo Combo and no longer need the Yamaha RX-V2600. It is in almost perfect condition, with only a slight blemish barely visible along the front edge (and only if you're about 1' away or less). I tried to take a picture but you can't see it at all unless you're super close and use flash. It sounds great.
I would like to sell locally in the Northern Virginia area if possible, as I've had terrible luck with UPS shipping things. Also, I no longer have the original box for shipping. I live in Warrenton, VA.
I am asking $650. I will also throw in a 6' Monster HDMI cable that came with the receiver.
Auditions are welcome, provided you can meet me in the evening after work or on a weekend.
p.s. I had to think long and hard about the Emotiva or the Yamaha as a preamp, because they are very close audio-wise. Obviously, the Yamaha has waaaay more features, but I don't use most of them and I don't have an HDTV, so there's not much point in keeping it at the moment. I might miss the tuner though...
